Shortwave (256nm) ultra violet lamps are used to detect phosphorescence.
Used on most GB postage stamps since the early 1960's.
Fitted with a UK 3 Pin plug.
WARNING! You must NEVER look directly into the light scource of
shortwave ultra violet as it is harmful to your eyes.
For this reason the lamp should kept out of reach of children.
