Davo Standard Great Britain Stamp Album
Davo Standard binders are made from extra heavy board covered with a finely woven navy blue canvas with Great Britain gold blocked on the front cover, above which the Great Britain crest is embossed in full colour. The top of the spine also bears a Great Britain crest below which is the volume number in roman numerals while at the foot it has Stanley Gibbons gold blocked.
Binders have a 2-Post brass screw head fitting which is easily accessible as the screw heads pass through the binder spine cover and come with a Davo Luxe slipcase for protection.
Leaves are manufactured from fine quality white cartridge paper weighing 100gsm with an overall size of 275 x 310mm. Titled Great Britain with a thin black borderline and a space for each stamp with selected illustrations for guidance, face value is shown if no illustration. No issue information is quoted except the year. Each volume has an index page in the front listing Stanley Gibbons catalogue numbers.
This is a standard album and requires the purchase of either Stamp Hinges or Stamps Mounts.
The contents of these albums is based on the Stanley Gibbons Collect British Stamps catalogue.
This album does not include plate numbers but offers additional plate block leaves with spaces for 30 definitive sized stamps or simply use blank leaves.
Annual Album Supplements are usually available in January of the following year.
Please note these are only produced using the 170gsm paper as used in the Davo Luxe albums.
