This is a handheld portable lamp which incorporates a shortwave ultra violet 4 watt tube emitting at 256nm and a standard torch light. Lamp also has a cord wrist strap and small stand.
Lamp is turned on/off by a sliding click switch.
Shortwave ultra violet lamps are used to detect the presence of phosphor, see More Info...
Requires 4 x AA batteries (not included).
WARNING! You must NEVER look directly into the light scource of shortwave ultra violet lamps as it is harmful to your eyes. For safety always remove the batteries when changing the tube.
For this reason shortwave ultra violet lamps should be kept out of the reach of children.
