Longwave Ultra Violet Lamps

A longwave ultra violet lamp is used to detect the presence of fluorescence. It can also be used to check inks, colours, paper types, forgeries and repairs. Plus the authenticity of paper documents, artwork, phonecards etc.

Shortwave Ultra Violet Lamps

A shortwave ultra violet lamp is used to detect the presence of phosphorescence. It can also be used to check for removed pen cancellations, inks, repairs to paper thins and added margins to imperforate stamps.
