This is a handheld portable lamp which incorporates a shortwave ultra violet 4 watt tube emitting at 256nm and also has an LED torch light. Lamp also has a cord wrist strap.
Lamp is turned on/off by a sliding click switch.
Shortwave ultra violet lamps are used to detect the presence of phosphor, see More Info...
Overall dimensions of this lamp are 162 x 56 x 25mm.
Requires 4 x AA batteries (not included).
WARNING!
You must NEVER look directly into the light scource of shortwave ultra violet lamps as it is harmful to your eyes. For safety always remove the batteries when changing the tube. For this reason lamp should be kept out of the reach of children.
