The Inst-a-Tector is a small pocket-sized easy to use watermark detector that requires no batteries and no liquids come into contact with the stamp.
This watermark detector is very simple to use. The stamp is placed face down on the white plastic base and is then covered by a special ink sachet and a piece of thick glass in the upper part of the hand held unit and the watermark is revealed when thumb pressure is applied to the ends of the unit.
Not suitable for use on postage stamps with heavy hinge or paper remains.
Comes with a plastic wallet for storage and transportation.
Unit and spare ink sackets should be stored in a cool dark place to ensure the maximum life of the item.
Approximate size 110 x 60 x 12mm. Size in wallet 125 x 80 x 15mm.
