A perforation gauge is used to indentify the perforation used on
postage stamps, which is very important in some collecting areas.
The rows of white dots and lines display the different
perforation sizes against a black background.
You simply move the stamp along the relevant scales until the
dots and lines match the perforation on the stamp.
Works in a similar way to the Lindner Phila-Combi-Box,
but for only 20% of the cost.
Also has a rule, in mm, along one side.
Smooth matt black plastic it is strong and durable.
