Ordering and Terms

Online Ordering

Using the shopping cart is the easiest, quickest, simpliest
and most secure way to purchase.

All actions involving the entering of credit card or debit card details
in the shopping cart are done under secure and encrypted
conditions using 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) software.
You can confirm this by checking for https:// in the address bar.
Our shopping cart is run on a separate secure encrypted
server with the URL beginning:
https://ww4.aitsafe.com/cf/add.cfm?
for the page where items are added to the cart.
This server is verified PCI-DSS compliant and
certified secure by GeoTrust SSL certification.

Click the 'Add To Cart' button next to the product you wish to buy.
This will show you a list of your shopping cart contents.
You can now choose to continue shopping or complete your purchase.
To complete your purchase, follow the instructions in the cart.
Submitting your order will generate an 'Order Acknowledgement' e-mail to you.
(For your security no credit card or debit card details are present)

Your card details are never entered on our systems, as the
online payment gateway, provided by Paypal Commerce Platform
is a separate secure server that communicates with your bank
or card issuer only, so we never have accessto your card details.
But if you prefer, you can order via telephone and by post,
see below.

Offline Ordering

Ordering by telephone:

between 10.00 - 17.00hrs Mon - Fri ONLY.

Ordering by post:
Just compose a letter detailing the product description, quantity required,
price, your address and enclose a cheque payable to
'Michael Kay', credit card or debit card details.
Post your order to:
Michael Kay (Orders), 27 Wensum Crescent, BICESTER, OX26 2GL.

Special Products Ordering

If you wish to purchase a product which is not featured
on our web site, simply phone or email us your order.
If phoning, we can take your card details and
process the payment manually.
If emailed, we can send you our bank details so
you can make a bank transfer payment.
Or we can send a Paypal money request.

Website Prices

All prices quoted on this web site are in £ Sterling (GBP).
All product prices are inclusive of VAT, so NO hidden extras for UK purchasers.

Prices are subject to change, due to manufacturers revisions.
Orders will be charged at the price ruling at the time of despatch.
Errors and omissions excepted.

Acceptable Methods of Payment

Payment by credit card or debit card via this web site or
by telephone to 01869-321676 between 10.00 - 17.00hrs Mon - Fri ONLY
Minimum order value is £ 10.00, due to the payment
card charges and carriage costs we incur.
Payment can also be made by bank detail transfer
details available upon request.
Payment of the full order value must accompany every order.
All credit card and debit card payments are processed
via Paypal Commerce Platform.
We also accept payment via PayPal Account.

Delivery and Packing Charges

Applicable for Mainland UK delivery;
FREE delivery on all orders over £ 100.00.
Standard delivery charge is £ 6.95 for heavier items with an
order value of less than £ 100.00.
Lower delivery charge is £ 3.95 for lighter items with an
order value of less than £ 100.00.
There is also an option in the cart to upgrade your
delivery from Royal Mail to FedEx, cost £ 4.95
FREE delivery on all Hawid stamp mount (strips & blocks) orders.

Applicable for Channel Islands, Highlands & Islands,
Isle of Man, N Ireland
delivery;
Deliveries under 2Kg charged as per the above UK tariff.
Deliveries over 2Kg charged as per the above
UK tariff, if sent via Royal Mail.
Deliveries over 2Kg NOT sent via Royal Mail,
but by carrier at your request.

We supply orders to the United Kingdom ONLY. No overseas shipping.
(UK = England, Scotland, Wales, N. Ireland, Channel Is & Isle of Man)

Despatching of Orders

All orders are despatched at the earliest opportunity.
For guidance only:
Usually despatched within 24 hours, 7 - 10 days, 2 - 3 weeks.
See product pages.
When ordering mixed items the longest despatch time
applies to the whole order.
Items other than those on this web site
usually take 7 - 10 working days.
(From the first working day after order was placed)

Method of despatching Mainland UK:
Orders weighing less than 750g*, are sent by Royal Mail Letter Post.
Orders weighing more than 750g - 2Kg, are sent by Royal Mail Parcel Service.
Orders weighing more than 2Kg are sent via FexEx.
(*weights quoted are inclusive of packing materials)
All orders sent by FedEx are tracked, insured and must be signed for.

Method of despatching Channel Islands,
Highlands & Islands, Isle of Man, N Ireland
:
Orders weighing under 2Kg, same as Mainland UK
Orders weighing 2Kg - 20Kg are sent using Royal Mail Parcel service.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Item

If you receive such an item, you must notify
us immediately by e-mail or telephone.
If you receive an incorrect item, we will
send the correct item to you as soon as possible.
The incorrect item must be returned to us within 7 days of receipt.
(Return postage costs will be refunded only if it is our error)
For damaged and defective items see the 'Returns' section below.
If damage or defect caused while in transit to you,
the packaging must be kept by you for possible inspection
by Royal Mail or FedEx.
If you dispose of the packaging this may invalidate any insurance claim.

Non-Receipt of Order

As a guide the following applies:
FedEx - If you have not received your order or a card
advising of a failed delivery attempt within
2 working days (Monday - Friday) of our notification
of despatch e-mail please contact us.
Royal Mail - If you have not received your order or a
card advising of a failed delivery attempt
within 5 working days (Monday - Friday) of notification
of despatch e-mail please contact us.
(NB: Royal Mail do not regard item as lost until 15 working days have elapsed)
You MUST advise us of non-receipt under all circumstances
within 21 working days of our notification of despatch e-mail
as we have to submit any claim for loss or compensation with
the relevant carrier within 30 working days.

Returns Policy

You must notifiy us of any returns prior to despatching
as return may not be necessary.
(Unauthorised returns will not have postage costs refunded)
Returns which occur due to a damaged or defective item,
the return postage will be refunded.
Returns which occur due to you ordering an item in error
and then exchanging for the correct item,
the return postage costs will not be refunded.
Returns which occur simply due to your cancelling an order
the return carriage costs will not be refunded.
All returns other than damaged, defective or incorrect item(s) are at your cost.

For your protection, we recommend you use a recorded delivery
service if value is greater than £ 20.00 in case lost in transit.

Refunds

Refunds are made in the same way as the original payment
and are processed within 30 days.

All transactions are conducted in accordance with English Law,
abiding by the Sale of Goods Act and Distant Selling Regulations.
