The latest optical watermark detector by Leuchtturm, The Sherlock, which refracts light through a perspex block to show the differences in paper thickness and can also show paper thins, tears and repairs.
Has multiple colour settings (white, blue, green, red) for the LED light source, which can also be adjusted in brightness to assist with watermark identification, by the two switches on the side.
Will detect all GB watermarks and is clean and safe.
Suitable for loose stamps only with a viewing area of 50 x 45mm.
The Lighthouse Sherlock is battery powered only, requiring 4 x AA. With a reinforced black plastic body.
